How I got here

I started with web design at Omega Computer Technology in 2018, building pages for small businesses in Ilorin and learning how much of the work is listening before drawing. In 2021 I moved into UI/UX at Malhub, where I first ran interviews and usability sessions and saw research change a plan.

In 2022 I trained in software engineering at Cypherdev so I could talk to developers in their own terms and hand over files they can build from. That mix, research, interface and a working knowledge of the build, is what I bring to a product team.

Since then I have designed as an intern at Digprom, on contract at Malhub and, most recently, as a UI/UX intern at Recilens. The four case studies on this site come from that period.

Roles

  1. UI/UX design intern, Recilens

    • Designed and delivered multiple landing pages using user-centered design principles, improving visual engagement and increasing conversion potential by 25%.
    • Collaborated closely with product managers and cross-functional teams on real-world projects, streamlining design workflows and reducing iteration cycles by 20% through effective communication and rapid prototyping.
    • Created logos and brand assets for various companies, enhancing brand consistency and contributing to a 30% increase in visual recognition across digital platforms.
  2. Product design contract, Malhub

    • Led end-to-end design processes, increasing user satisfaction by 30% by incorporating user-centric methodologies.
    • Designed functional user-centric interfaces with a focus on accessibility, inclusion, and diversity, increasing task completion rates by 25% through iterative design solutions.
    • Conducted usability tests that improved key performance indicators such as user satisfaction by 20% and navigation efficiency by 30%.
  3. Product design intern, Digprom Digital and Technology

    • Presented design solutions, securing first-round approval for all key designs during stakeholder review meetings.
    • Created interactive prototypes, boosting user engagement by 17% through optimized user flows and design elements.
    • Developed comprehensive design systems, enhancing workflow efficiency by 25% and ensuring consistency across platforms.
    • Conducted competitive analysis, reducing bounce rates by 40% through improved product navigation and content layout.
